Rumtse To Tsomoriri

Walk and turn to your right and soon a trail will be there that will lead you to the valley. Then you will reach a river. You will have to cross the river and then enter the valley. Walk for some more time, again cross the river and turn to your left and walk again. You will also have to cross some more tributaries that are coming. Walk and then turn to the north and you will soon reach the campsite.

Start walking now towards Kyumur la. The way is very easy but it will take time for you to reach the top. At the top, the trail divides itself into two and it will go to its left which will lead you to Tsokar. You can also take a right and pass the stream by climbing. No trail for some time but later you will get to see Mandalchan la at the top. It will go up and then down to an area is known as Tisaling. This place is now your campsite.

You will cross the right hill saddle. As you reach to the top, you can get to see Tsokar lake. Walk to that lake , and then walk from the hill as a nice campsite is waiting for you.

The walk is very easy today. Walk towards the east and in the end of Stupa, take the same direction, after which you get to view agricultural field. And the next campsite is nearby.

Ascend here is very easy and it will take 1.5 hours. It will run towards the north east after you pass the valley. At the base, you will find the campsite.

You have to climb the Kyamuru la and that is going to take you 2hours. This climb is very tiring. The trail will lead you towards north east and in the end starts ascending another pass known as Gyama la. From here, you will be able to see a lot of peaks. Walk towards north east and also cross the river and you soon reach Gyama Ihoma as soon as you cross the river.

Start moving towards Korzok. It will take two hours for you to reach the top. You will get to see the beautiful lake from there. Come back to Korzok village. If you wish to, you can camp at Korzok Phu, here you will find a lot of nomadic camps.
